Undergraduate Studies in History

The Department of History offers a Bachelor of Arts in History (B.A.) and a Minor in History. The B.A. offers concentrations in US, European, or Non-Western history. The undergraduate program offers an introduction to historical studies, with survey classes covering broad historical periods and upper-level courses focusing on more specific national, regional, and thematic topics. All history majors will learn the fundamentals of historical research in a seminar designed specifically for them.
